Upcoming Change to University Owned Computers
Beginning Tuesday, April 28, University‑owned computers must connect to the SLU network at least once every 90 days to remain active and supported.
This can be done by being on campus or by connecting through GlobalProtect VPN. Computers that do not connect within 90 days may be removed from SLU systems, which could result in loss of access until remediated.
This periodic connection ensures University‑owned computers stay up to date, secure, and properly supported.
What you need to do:
- If you work remotely or have not been on campus recently, connect to GlobalProtect VPN for at least 30 minutes once per month. VPN setup instructions can be found online.
- If you have a University‑owned computer on campus that is rarely powered on, please power it on and connect it to the SLU network monthly.
