Senior Legacy Symposium Nominations Due March 6
The 19th annual Senior Legacy Symposium, sponsored by the Division of Academic Affairs and coordinated by the University Honors Program, will occur on Tuesday, April 28, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Busch Student Center.
This event showcases SLU's commitment to research, creative work, and mission-inspired community practice. It also serves as a highly anticipated celebration that brings students, faculty, and staff together at the end of the academic year.
All undergraduate academic departments/programs are eligible to participate by nominating up to three students for the Symposium. Nominated students should be graduating seniors from the 2025-2026 academic year. Nominations are due March 6, 2026.
Interested departments/programs must complete a student information request form. Organizers understand some departments require additional time to identify students for the symposium. Legacy staff will work with departments whose timelines conflict with this deadline.
Legacy staff will review all nominations submitted in March and communicate directly with students and departments about additional needs.
Nominated students will have the choice to participate in one of four available formats: a traditional poster presentation, a creative presentation (limited spots available), an individual oral presentation, or an interdisciplinary research panel in which they share information about their projects and engage in dialogue with students from other fields.
