Cannonball Conference Food Drive Will Support Billiken Bounty and Campus Kitchen
One meaningful Cannonball Conference tradition is putting our mission into action. This year, the Cannonball Conference Food Drive will support Billiken Bounty and Campus Kitchen, two Saint Louis University programs working to address food insecurity on campus and throughout the St. Louis community.
In partnership with the Staff Advisory Committee, conference attendees are encouraged to bring donations to the Wool Ballroom on Oct. 22. Every contribution helps stock the shelves and provide nutritious food for SLU students and neighbors in need.
Billiken Bounty provides SLU students with access to healthy food, essential resources,
and support that helps them focus on their well-being and academic success. Campus
Kitchen advances food justice by recovering food that might otherwise go to waste
and transforming it into nutritious meals for individuals experiencing food insecurity.
Through the dedication of students, staff, faculty, and community volunteers, Campus Kitchen creates thousands of meals while reducing food waste and serving vulnerable populations throughout the region. Together, these programs reflect SLU’s commitment to service, sustainability, and care for our community.
