Choosing a college is a big decision, and sometimes the best way to learn about a university is to hear directly from a student who knows it firsthand. Connect with a current Billiken through the ZeeMee app to ask questions, learn about campus life and get a student's perspective on what it's like to be part of the SLU community.

This private chat option lets you connect with a current SLU student from the comfort of your own phone. You can choose a student to chat with based on factors such as their hometown, major, campus involvement or availability, then schedule a conversation at a time that works for you.

How It Works

  1. Create your ZeeMee account. Set up your ZeeMee account if you haven't done so already.
  2. Explore student profiles. Review the Billiken profiles on the scheduling page and choose a student to chat with based on their hometown, major or availability.
  3. Schedule your chat. Select a time that works for you and complete the registration form. You can also share topics you'd like to discuss.
  4. Check your email. You'll receive a confirmation email and a reminder with information about your scheduled chat.
  5. Connect on ZeeMee. Watch for a DM on ZeeMee from your SLU student ambassador, then start the conversation and get an inside look at life as a Billiken!

What Can I Ask a SLU Student?

Your conversation is your opportunity to ask about the things that matter most to you. Not sure where to start? Consider asking your student ambassador about:

  • Their experience as a Billiken and what they enjoy most about campus
  • Their major, classes and academic experience
  • Getting involved in student organizations, activities and campus traditions
  • Living on campus and finding a community at SLU
  • St. Louis and what it's like to live and learn in the city
  • Moving to a new city or attending college far from home
  • Tips for getting settled and making the most of your first year
  • Anything else you're curious about as you consider SLU

You don't need to have a list of questions prepared. Your student ambassador can share their experience and help you learn more about the parts of college that aren't always covered on a website or campus tour.
