Meet the leaders and staff members of Saint Louis University's Office of Enrollment Management.
Jean Marie Cox
Interim vice president of enrollment management
Jean Marie Cox is vice president of enrollment management at Saint Louis University. With more than 20 years of experience in enrollment management, she provides leadership for recruitment, enrollment marketing and communications and cross-functional enrollment strategy. She is committed to advancing the University’s mission and identity through data-informed planning, enrollment diversity initiatives and innovative leadership. Throughout her career, Cox has helped drive growth in applications, strengthen academic quality, expand international enrollment strategies and improve key enrollment and revenue metrics.
Before joining SLU in 2008, Cox served as director of recruitment at Marshall University and held several positions in undergraduate admission and recruitment at Louisiana State University. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a master’s degree from Louisiana State University. Active in enrollment management organizations nationwide, Cox is a former president of the National Catholic College Admission Association.
Alex DeLonis
Assistant vice president of student financial services
Alex DeLonis is assistant vice president of student financial services at Saint Louis University and brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in financial aid and enrollment management. He oversees financial services operations and helps advance strategies that support student access and success.
Before joining SLU, DeLonis served as associate dean for enrollment management and director of financial aid processing at Ivy Tech Community College. He began his career at community colleges in Illinois. A nationally recognized leader in the profession, he serves on the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators Board of Directors and is president-elect of the Midwest Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. DeLonis earned a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University and a master’s degree from McKendree University and is pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership at SLU.
Troy Hargrove, Ph.D.
Assistant vice president for graduate enrollment
Troy Hargrove, Ph.D. is assistant vice president for graduate enrollment at Saint Louis University, where he provides strategic leadership across enrollment functions with a primary focus on graduate and professional programs. As a member of the University’s senior enrollment leadership team, he helps advance enrollment strategy through data-informed decision-making, integrated recruitment efforts and cross-functional collaboration.
Hargrove has served SLU since 2003 in leadership roles across the Division of Enrollment Management, School for Professional Studies, Office of Summer and Extended Studies, Career Services, Chaifetz School of Business and Office of the President. He earned a doctorate in higher education administration, an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in organizational studies from Saint Louis University. His research focused on persistence and success among adult learners.
Rebecca Bahan
Director of international services
Rebecca Bahan is director of international services at Saint Louis University, where she provides leadership for international student and scholar services, immigration compliance and campus internationalization efforts. With more than 25 years of experience in international education, she helps advance the University’s global engagement through strategic enrollment initiatives, student support and collaborative partnerships.
Before joining SLU in 2019, Bahan served as director of international affairs at Fontbonne University, where she helped drive significant growth in international enrollment and establish the University’s International Center. She has also held international student services and enrollment leadership roles at the College of Southern Nevada, as well as student affairs positions at Susquehanna University and the University of Wisconsin-Scotland. Bahan earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and international relations from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a master’s degree in education and recreation from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She is an active leader in NAFSA: Association of International Educators and a frequent presenter on topics related to international higher education.
Ryan Klotz, Ph.D.
Director of enrollment analytics
Ryan Klotz, Ph.D., is director of enrollment analytics in Saint Louis University’s Division of Enrollment Management, a role he has held since 2016. He leads research and analytics efforts that support student recruitment, market development, financial aid strategy, student surveys and enrollment management benchmarking across the University’s enrollment functions.
Before joining SLU, Klotz served as a senior research associate at St. Louis Community College and worked as a data scientist for several private firms. He earned a doctorate in international development and sustainability from Florida International University in 2013. His research led to the publication of Pesticides and Global Health: Understanding Agrochemical Dependence and Investing in Sustainable Solutions in 2014.
