The Billiken Club
Saint Louis University's Billiken Club honors some of our most important team members — the loyal donors who support our athletics funds.
The generosity of this group of fans benefits all 16 Billiken varsity teams, allowing SLU to provide a first-class intercollegiate athletics program, including competitive scholarships, state-of-the-art facilities and outstanding coaches.
Billiken Club Membership
Membership in the Billiken Club starts with a qualifying gift of $150 or more to any athletics fund at SLU, including seating donations, sport-specific development funds, athletics endowment funds and capital funds.

The Billiken Club Priority Points System
The Billiken Club Priority Points System is used to prioritize ticket-purchasing privileges based on donor activity in the previous fiscal year, beginning on July 1. It assigns a ranking to each supporter to fairly allocate benefits such as season seat assignments, parking, postseason ticket access and more.
The Points System
Points are calculated on a per-account basis and are nontransferable.
One point will be awarded:
- Per $50 given to SLU’s athletics annual fund or athletic endowment
- Per $100 of a restricted athletics gift
- For each season ticket purchased (Women's Basketball, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Volleyball)
- Per $100 of sponsorship cash contribution
- Per $200 of sponsorship trade contribution
- Per $100 of a gift in-kind
Two points will be awarded for:
- Each consecutive year of Billiken Club membership
Three points will be awarded for:
- Increasing membership level (one-time)
- Each men's basketball season ticket purchased
- Each SLU Athletics golf outing entry
Twenty points will be awarded for:
Being a Saint Louis University graduate, once an account is established (one-time allocation)
Other Provisions
- Billiken Club members will receive priority over nonmembers for ticket requests and other associated perks.
- Current-year Billiken Club membership level, annual donations and restricted athletic-sport support points are determined based on the fiscal year, beginning July 1.
- Tickets must be purchased to qualify for priority points.
- Comped, donated, traded, or single-game tickets do not qualify.
- Accounts credited for donations and purchasers' names must be consistent with the buyer's names of season tickets and donor information.
- Billiken Club benefits are not transferable, except for surviving spouses, who may continue point privileges for their personal use only. (The surviving spouse may not transfer points to any other individual.)
- Entities must be active Billiken Club members to receive benefits from the Priority Points System.

Additional Ways to Give
- Capital/Endowed Giving: Your investment in athletic facilities and our endowment ensures the long-term future of our programs while also increasing our ability to enhance current operations.
- Gifts in Kind: Products or services that the athletic department can use during the year and would normally have to purchase may be accepted as membership gifts. Contact the Billiken Club at 314-977-8180 for more information.
- Matching Gifts: Many companies will match your gift to Saint Louis University. If your company participates, you will receive credit both for your gift and the match amount, increasing your benefit level and earning you additional priority points in the Billiken Club. - Planned Giving: A planned gift can offer substantial tax and estate-planning benefits while allowing you to make a lasting gift to Billiken Athletics. Learn more about planned giving.
- Securities and Property: Securities, real property and tangible personal property given to Saint Louis University to benefit athletics may also qualify toward membership in the Billiken Club.
Priority point totals are sent annually to all current season-ticket holders.
Billiken Club Priority Points are not transferable.
Qualifying gifts for membership in the Billiken Club that are not associated with priority seating benefits may be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor.
Outside of contributions associated with priority seating benefits, charitable contributions to any athletics fund will qualify for membership in the Billiken Club.
Yes, each Division I sport at Saint Louis University has its own team development fund that supports operating costs, including nutrition, travel and equipment.
