At the Billiken Engagement Center, current Saint Louis University students connect with alumni via phone, text, email and U.S. mail in hopes of updating graduates’ demographic information, providing SLU campus news, fundraising and strengthening relationships.
In this part-time position, our student-workers gain real-world experience, grow connections within the SLU community and share their passion for giving back to their soon-to-be alma mater.
As part of the Department of Annual Giving in SLU’s Division of Development, student callers gain experience working for a nonprofit organization and have a hand in raising more than $200,000 annually for SLU. Through their calling, they have the opportunity to connect and network with alumni, as well as improve their communication skills.
