Navigating Back to Campus Equity and Wellness Lecture Series Kick Off July 13

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the School of Medicine is hosting an Equity & Wellness Lecture Series: "Forward, Together." The four-session series starts Tuesday, July 13, for the SLUSOM staff.

Returning to campus can be an exciting time as well as a time of mixed feelings. Through this series, the sessions will explore tools to help navigate returning to campus.

The first session will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13. The session will be "Cultivating Personal and Professional Resilience," presented by Daniel Blash, Ph.D., Vice Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer, School of Medicine.

The second session, "Improving Self-Care," will be presented by Lauren Schwarz, Ph.D. ABPP-CN, Board-Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist, Assistant Professor of Neurology, and the Director of the Neuropsychology Division. It will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 19.

The third session will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20. It will be "Caring for Others Where We Work and Play," presented by Denise Hooks-Anderson, M.D., Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Family Medicine.

The final session will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 2. Utilizing HR Resources will presented by the EAP vendor.

Registration for any of the events in series can be done prior to the event.
