Memorial Service for Irene Schulze, Ph.D. Is November 11

A memorial service for Irene T. Schulze, Ph.D., will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11 at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital Chapel. 

Schulze,  professor emeritus in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and a world-renowned virologist, died May 6, 2021.

The service will be in the chapel of the new hospital at 1201 S. Grand Blvd. Space is limited and masking is required to attend. 

Park in new Saint Louis University Hospital parking garage-entrance on Grand Blvd. Take the orange elevators to the main floor of the hospital and take the covered walkway into the hospital. Follow the signs to the chapel. The chapel is to the left of the walkway.

A reception will immediately follow the service in Conference Room C one floor up from the chapel.
