Center for Global Catholicism at SLU Speaker Series Set for September 24

The Center for Global Catholicism at SLU Speaker Series inaugural event, "What Is Global Catholicism?" will be Friday, Sept. 24. The event will start at noon St. Louis time and at 7 p.m. in Madrid.

The event will feature three panelists scheduled to discuss their current research and reflect with the audience on how we might define “global Catholicism,” and what potential uses and pitfalls the term presents. The three speakers Heidi Ardizzone, Ph.D., American Studies;  Kevin Ingram, Ph.D. History at SLU Madrid;  and Grant Kaplan, Ph.D., theological studies. 

The event will be both in-person and broadcast over Zoom. The in-person event will be in Boileau Hall. Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to RSVP so adequate space be reserved.
