33rd Annual Leadership and Service Awards Announced

The Student Involvement Center hosted the 33rd Annual Leadership and Service Awards in the Wool Ballrooms on Tuesday, April 16. This ceremony honors outstanding achievement and contributions in the areas of leadership and service for students, faculty and staff.

The ceremony featured opening remarks by SLU’s Vice President for Student Development Sarah Cunningham, Ed.D., an invocation from sophomore student leader, Grace LoPiccolo, and a video featuring leadership lessons and advice from eight graduating seniors. Each award winner was introduced with brief quotes from their nomination statement.

The Student Government Association also recognized some noteworthy recipients during the ceremony. Each year the SGA honors select SLU faculty for their outstanding commitment and dedication to teaching, and for their holistic care of students.
