Registration Open for MEDLaunch and GEOLaunch Demo Day 2024

Founded in 2015 by SLU School of Medicine students, MEDLaunch is a student biotechnology incubator based at the Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship that brings together students across various disciplines on the undergraduate and graduate campuses to develop medical devices and solutions to problems affecting healthcare today.

This year MEDLaunch Demo Day will be at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, at COLLAB at Cortex. 

Five teams of students have been working on their projects since September 2023. Each team has completed multiple rounds of workshops and presentations preparing for Demo Day, an event where they will be presenting their projects and prototypes to faculty, students, staff, stakeholders and investors in the St. Louis region. This year, Demo Day will feature a pitch from GEOLaunch, a sister organization focused on applying geospatial insights and technology. 

Demo Day is an open event, and the dress code will be semi-professional for attendees. Food and beverages will also be served. Attendees will need to RSVP.

• 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.:  Keynote Speaker - Enbal Shacham, Ph.D.
• 6 p.m. to 6:50 p.m.: MEDLaunch Pitches
• 6:50 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Break
• 7 p.m. to 7:40 p.m.: MEDLaunch Pitches
• 7:40 p.m. to 7:55 p.m.: GEOLaunch Feature Pitch
• 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: Awards/Wrap-Up
