Upcoming Deadline for Fall Welcome 2024 Space Requests


The Event Services department, in conjunction with the Office of the Provost, is implementing a new reservation process to equitably distribute space between various departments that would like to hold events during the Fall Welcome time period.

Each year, hundreds of events are scheduled in the month of August to help welcome our students, faculty, and staff for another academic year. The goal of this new process will assist in allocating our finite resources to the numerous requests we receive.

The 2024 Fall Welcome period is from Sunday, Aug. 4 through Saturday, Aug. 31. If you would like to host an event during this time, you must fill out this Google form by Friday, May 31.

Users should note that submission of this form is a request, not a confirmation.

The Event Services office will use the guiding principles found in the Fall Welcome Space Request Process document to coordinate space and equipment allocation while maximizing the number of events held on campus.  
No event requests for the Fall Welcome block will be accepted after Friday, May 31. After that day, the Event Services office will review all submissions and create a schedule of events.
