Fall Welcome 2025: Space Reservation Process Now Open

The Event Services department, in collaboration with the Office of the Provost, will continue the reservation process introduced last year to equitably distribute campus space among departments wishing to host events during the Fall Welcome period.
During a three-week time period each August, more than100 events are held to welcome students, faculty, and staff to the new academic year. This process is designed to help allocate our limited resources as effectively and fairly as possible.
The 2025 Fall Welcome period is from Aug.10 to Aug. 28. To host an event, complete the Google form by Sunday, June 15, 2025.
Submission of this form are a request, not a confirmation.
The guiding principles to make a decision can be found in the Fall Welcome Space Request Process document to coordinate space and equipment allocation while maximizing the number
of events held on campus. More information can be found on the Fall Welcome Space Request Process webpage.
No event requests for the Fall Welcome block will be accepted after Sunday, June 15.
After June 15, the Event Services office will review all submissions and create a
schedule of events. The goal is to send out all event confirmations by Monday, July
7.
