University Community Invited to Annual 1818 Community Engagement Showcase
The campus community is invited to attend the annual 1818 Community Engagement Showcase, which features the 18 grant awardees and the impact their projects had on the St. Louis region in collaboration with a non-profit organization.
The open-house style event will take place Thursday, April 30, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Chaifetz School of Business atrium.
Students, faculty and community partners will be displaying posters related to their grant project, as well as various advocacy efforts via the Policy Pods Program.
Food and drinks will be provided, and no registration is necessary.
The 1818 Community Engagement Grant Program celebrates the over 200-year history of SLU giving back to the St. Louis community. Eighteen grants of $1,800 each are given to selected applicants to make a positive impact in the community in partnership with a local nonprofit organization.
