Reinert Center to Host Learning Studio Symposium

Past and current Reinert Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning Ignatian Teaching fellows will share their perspectives and experiences about teaching in the Learning Studio, a teaching space designed by a team of faculty and students as part of the Herman Miller Learning Spaces Research Program, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, in the Learning Studio (room 213 of Des Peres Hall).

A reception will immediately follow the symposium.

This year's symposium line-up includes:

Each semester, the Reinert Center awards Ignatian Teaching Fellowships to faculty selected through a competitive application process to design a course in one of three formats: in Saint Louis University's Learning Studio, in a large enrollment course or in a distance course. Fellowships are for a two-semester period, with course development taking place the first semester.

The Learning Studio Symposium is an opportunity for those fellows to share about their experiences throughout the fellowship with the SLU community.
