SLU Ride–Uber Voucher Program
SLU Ride offers students at Saint Louis University safe, on-demand transportation. The program provides students with discounted Uber rides within a one-mile radius of Busch Student Center during late-night hours.
- Eligible students will be offered ten ride vouchers each semester ($7 per ride for residents and $3.50 per ride for full-time commuters).
- Each voucher is valid from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday and from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
- Vouchers can be used for any Uber travel during the specified time frames within a one-mile radius of Busch Student Center.
Eligible students should receive an email invitation with a special link to add the vouchers to their Uber wallets. The SLU Ride Uber account is separate from the student’s personal account, but it can be accessed in the Uber app. This is like being logged into multiple Instagram accounts on one phone, with the ability to toggle between them.
Students are responsible for any amount over the discounted voucher amount when redeeming a ride voucher. Students will also have the option to redeem a voucher for a ride or save it for a future trip.
Please note that tips are extra and are the financial responsibility of the student. Additional voucher terms and conditions may apply upon redemption.
Vouchers will begin the first day of class and expire on the last day of final exams. Each semester, all eligible students will be notified via email when new vouchers are ready to be accepted again.
