SLU Ride

The Saint Louis University SLU Ride service is designed to provide students, faculty and staff with evening and weekend rides to University buildings on campus.

The SLU Ride boundaries are Washington Boulevard, Compton Avenue and Lafayette and Vandeventer avenues. The SLU Ride fleet is composed of seven-passenger vans driven by SLU staff and student workers to take you to and from stops via the TripShot app.

For an escort during or outside of SLU Ride hours, you can still contact DPS dispatch at 314-977-3000.

SLU Ride's boundaries are roughly marked on this map but for a full list of stops, visit the TripShot app or website.

Request a Ride

To request a ride with SLU Ride, use the TripShot app. Only request the ride when you are ready to leave and remain inside until you receive the honk notification from your SLU Ride driver.

The TripShot app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once installed, open the app, enter the service name SLU, and log in with your SLU username and password. When your ride arrives, you will be notified by a digital honk via the TripShot app. If you have trouble with your username and password, contact ITS at 314-977-4000.

Having difficulties with the Tripshot App? Email transport@slu.edu and let us know.

Outside of SLU Ride and shuttle hours, the Department of Public Safety can provide safety escorts. To request a safety escort, call 314-977-3000.
