New Graduate Student Orientation
This orientation provides new graduate students the opportunity to learn about university and campus resources that provide crucial academic support, fostering community and connection, and health and well-being at the beginning of the semester.
2025 New Graduate Student Orientation will take place from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Monday, August 18th, 2025, in the Richard A. Chaifetz Atrium in Cook Hall. Parking is available in the Olive-Compton Parking garage at the corner of Compton Ave and Olive St. North Campus campus map is available here.
Registration and check-in will begin at 8:30am. Opening remarks will begin promptly at 9:00am.

New International Student Orientation
New International Student Orientation provides information about campus resources, immigration and compliance information; meet faculty and connect with other new international graduate students. More information including registration is available here.
SLU Online Orientation
SLU INFO Hub
The Info Hub is the go-to for new and existing graduate students to come and get your questions answered. Several sessions will be offered the week before classes begin, and during the first-and second-weeks of classes during the fall and spring semesters.
Students will be able to connect with:
- Graduate Admissions Office: Students can submit official transcripts and discuss questions or concerns about admissions.
- Academic Program Coordinators: Coordinators will be available to talk about registration, academic programs and courses.
- Information Technology Services (ITS): Assist with setting up mySLU accounts and pairing devices to the SLU network.
- Office of International Services (OIS): Provides immigration-related information, such as I-20, immigration status, and etc.
- Student Financial Services: Answers questions about student accounts, financial aid, scholarships & fellowships; and loan certification.
