Christmas on the Quad has quickly become a beloved Saint Louis University tradition, kicking off the holiday season the first Saturday in December. Featuring festive activities around campus, including visits with Santa, a craft station, face painters, inflatables and a blessing and tree-lighting ceremony!

2024 Event Schedule
4:30 p.m.: Event starts
6:30 p.m.: Blessing and tree lightening ceremony
Get Your Commemorative Mug
Stay warm with a sweet treat during this year’s festivities. Get exclusive access to a hot chocolate bar by purchasing a commemorative Christmas on the Quad mug during registration. Each $5 purchase includes a $2 gift to SLU’s Third Century Fund.
- A commemorative mug is required to receive hot chocolate at the event.
- A limited number of mugs is available; be sure to place your order when you register.
- Orders are limited to six mugs per registration.
- Mugs must be picked up during the event.
- In the event a mug is unclaimed, the entire $5 cost will be given to the Third Century Fund.

This year's Christmas on the Quad event will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024.
Various activities will take place on the quad and at nearby locations on Saint Louis University's campus. The tree-lighting ceremony will be held on the lawn between Pius XII Memorial Library and DuBourg Hall.
Complimentary event parking will be available in the Laclede Garage, on the southwest corner of Grand Boulevard and Laclede Avenue.
