Music in Medicine Reception and Concert  

6-8 p.m. at the Learning Resource Center, Pitlyk Auditorium, 3544 Carolina Mall (first floor)

Join us for the annual Gwendolyn Peiper Endowment for Music in Medicine Concert. This complimentary event will feature piano performances from undergraduates and medical students, as well as appetizers and refreshments at the pre-concert reception.

Complimentary parking will be available in the Hickory East Garage and Smith parking lot from 5:15 to 10 p.m. Smith parking lot capacity may be limited. The garage gates will be open upon exit, but you may need a ticket to enter.

White Coat Society Reception (Private Event)

3:30-5 p.m. at the Jacobs and Webber Residence

White Coat Society members are invited to an exclusive reception featuring great company from fellow School of Medicine supporters.

Welcome Event (Check-in and Reception)  

5-6:30 p.m. at The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza, 212 Kingshighway Blvd.

Check in for the weekend to receive your welcome materials and name tag, while enjoying a light reception, special remarks, and time to catch up with classmates.

Parking at The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza Hotel: Self-parking will be available in the hotel garage. Enter the garage behind the hotel from Maryland Plaza Avenue and proceed to the third floor, where you can enter the hotel via the connected walkway. SLU staff members will provide you with an exit ticket at the Welcome Reception to cover the parking rate. Valet parking will be available for an additional fee of $25 during the event or $50 for overnight parking.

2026 Med Reunion Class Dinners

These events are now sold out.

7 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of conversation, connection and reminiscing about your time at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, along with a hosted open bar. Attendance is $100 per person.

Each class dinner will be located in or within walking distance of The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza Hotel.

• Classes of 1956, 1966, 1971, 1981 and 2001: The Preston, 212 Kingshighway Blvd.
• Classes of 1976, 1991 and 1996: Tenderloin Room, 212 Kingshighway Blvd.
• Classes of 1986 and 2006: Edera, 48 Maryland Plaza.
• Class of 2016: Maryland House, 44 Maryland Plaza Rear.

Please plan to arrive by 7 p.m. Class photos will be taken throughout the dinner.

If you indicated a dietary restriction on your registration, let a SLU staff member know so they can provide you with a card to give to the dining staff.

Continuing Medical Education

• 9 a.m.: Welcome and introductions.
• 9:05 a.m.: “Obesity and Metabolic Dysfunction in 2026: Personalizing Pharmacotherapy in the Cardiometabolic Era,” presented by Dr. F. Gerald Wade, assistant professor, section chief of ambulatory medicine, and co-director of the SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital Comprehensive Metabolic Center.
• 9:40 a.m.: “Advances in Endovascular Aneurysm Treatment,” presented by Dr. Randall Edgell, vice chair, professor and division director of the Souers Stroke Institute and the Sydney W. Souers Endowed Chair in Neurology.
• 10:10 a.m.: Break
• 10:20 a.m.: “Artificial Intelligence and the Future Physician,” presented by Dr. Paul Kunnath, FACP,  general internist, associate professor of medicine, associate program director of the internal medicine residency program, and affiliate faculty for the Center for Educator Development, Advancement, and Research (CEDAR) at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

These exclusive experiences offer a unique opportunity to see firsthand how Saint Louis University School of Medicine is shaping the future of medical education and patient care.

Shuttles will be provided to both locations. Please meet in the Education Union lobby prior to boarding.

Med Reunion Luncheon and Student Panel  

12:30-2 p.m. at the Learning Resource Center, Lo Family Team Learning Center 360 Classroom, 3544 Carolina Mall (second floor)

Enjoy lunch, featuring remarks from Dr. Christine Jacobs, dean and vice president for medical affairs, as well as a student panel highlighting the current medical student experience and the future of medical education at SLU. Lunch is $30 per person.

School of Medicine Tour and Closing Reception

2-4 p.m., departing from the 360 Classroom, 3545 Vista Ave. (second floor)

Explore the School of Medicine with a guided tour led by current medical students. Discover the spaces where students learn, train and prepare for their future careers in medicine while gaining insight into the current SLU medical education experience. The tour will conclude in Schwitalla Hall for the closing reception. 

Mass

4:30 p.m. at the School of Medicine, Desloge Chapel, 3638 Vista Ave.

Enter via the Bordley Tower and follow the chapel signs to the third floor.  

Close out Med Reunion weekend with Mass in Desloge Chapel, as we come together in reflection and celebration.
