Med Reunion

Congratulations, School of Medicine classes 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018! 2023 is your reunion year. We'll be celebrating the classes of 1960 and 1976 as well! We look forward to welcoming you back to campus to celebrate in the fall.

Friday, October 13, 2023

  • 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Welcome and Check-In
    The Chase Park Plaza, Zodiac Ballroom, 11th Floor
    Stop by to check in for the weekend and enjoy some light refreshments.  
  • 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: All Class Reunion Dinner ($80 per person)
    The Chase Park Plaza, Starlight Ballroom, 11th Floor  
    All reunion celebrants are invited to attend. Catch up and mingle with classmates while enjoying a nice seated dinner. Cocktails will be at 6 p.m. The dinner will start at 7 p.m.

  • 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Continental Breakfast and CME Program: Current Topics in the School of Medicine

    The presentation will be an introduction to the new metabolic and nutrition institute at the School of Medicine. The discussion will be on the scientific/clinical background of metabolic diseases (i.e. prevalence of disease and why it is important), and the importance of the metabolic institute, which will encompass the comprehensive metabolic center at the hospital, as well as research and education.

    Credit Designation

    Saint Louis University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. TM Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Saint Louis University School of Medicine will provide Other learner certificates (APPs, nurses, and other types of learners). The certificate will state that the activity was designated for 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Follow your board's requirements for reciprocal CE credits.

  • 11 a.m. to Noon: School of Medicine Tour
    Current medical school students will lead a tour of campus. 
  • Noon to 1:30 p.m.: Meet the Dean Lunch ($30 per person)
    Allied Health Professions Building, Multipurpose Room
    Meet with Dean Christine Jacobs, M.D., who will provide updates on the School of Medicine.
  • 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Tour Options
    Shuttle service will be provided to and from campus/hotels to tour locations.
    • Option 1: Practical Anatomy and Surgical Education and the Surgical Simulation Center, Young Hall
    • Option 2: SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital (Please note: The hospital tour is now sold out.)
  • 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Med Reunion Reception
    Schwitalla Hall 
    Close out the weekend by mingling with classmates at the cocktail reception. Light appetizers and refreshments will be provided.
