Build Your Homecoming and Family Weekend
Saint Louis University's Homecoming and Family Weekend is about connecting with fellow Billikens, no matter what the venue. While our official schedule includes three days of optional gatherings for SLU alumni, parents, families, current students and friends, there’s plenty to do on and around campus in between.
Grab a Bite to Eat
Experience today's campus dining options or enjoy a local restaurant near campus.
- Start with breakfast or lunch on campus. Many dining locations will be open, including the Billiken Grill, Grand Dining Hall, Panera Bread, Starbucks and Subway. For more information, visit the DineSLU website.
- Visit the nearby food hall at City Foundry STL to pick from numerous local eateries. (SLU students, faculty and staff qualify for discounts at many locations.)
Get Active
Looking for an opportunity to get in some steps?
- Take a self-guided walking tour of campus. There’s always something new to see.
- Visit nearby Puttshack or Top Golf. Have a SLU student, staff or faculty member with you? They get a discount!
- Stop by Simon Recreation Center. A single visit pass for alumni is just $10.
- Plus, don’t forget to sign up for the 25th Annual Cheryl L. Cavallo Hustle for Your Health 5K and Family Fun Walk when you register for Homecoming and Family Weekend. The race benefits the Cheryl L. Cavallo Memorial Scholarship, which provides opportunities for students to participate in physical therapy-related service and mission trips.
Take in the Arts
The beauty of campus is a weekend highlight, but the arts are a stroll away from all the activity.
- The Saint Louis University Museum of Art (SLUMA) exhibits and collects works by modern masters and displays an extensive collection of Jesuit artworks and artifacts. (Learn more about SLUMA’s current exhibit, Cross Currents.) SLUMA is open 11 a.m.-4 p.m. every day during Homecoming and Family Weekend.
- Explore all that the nearby Grand Center Arts District has to offer.
- The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (CAM) is just around the corner from campus. Learn more about its fall/winter 2026 exhibitions, or get tickets to The Fabulous Fox Theatre to see Clue Live on Stage!
Go Shopping
If you didn't bring your Billiken blue, there are plenty of places to stock up on spirit.
- Stop at The Billiken Shop, the official Saint Louis University bookstore. Alumni will receive a 10% discount on their entire purchase of regular-priced clothing and giftware (exclusions may apply) when shopping in-store during Homecoming and Family Weekend.
- Check out Ikea or the new small-format Target near campus. Visit the City Foundry STL to find local shops.
- Plus, if you didn't get a chance to buy your Homecoming and Family Weekend T-shirt, limited quantities will be available during check-in and on-site registration hours in the Busch Student Center.
