The Reinert Center can provide informal mentoring for new SLU faculty who also are new to classroom teaching. Mentors may be full-time Center staff or other SLU faculty. The mentoring relationship can take many different forms, from frequent, regular meetings to more virtual mentoring by email, based on the faculty member's needs. We intentionally leave open and flexible the structure and nature of the mentoring interactions because we want participants to determine the goals and approach that best suits them.
