SLU Makes Study Abroad Possible

At Saint Louis University, we make a study abroad experience accessible for every eligible undergraduate student.

Unlike many other American universities, we don’t just have a study abroad program (although you can choose from 50+ traditional study abroad options while at SLU) — we’ve had an international campus in Madrid, Spain, for more than 50 years.

That means Saint Louis University students, no matter what their undergraduate major, are able to have a study abroad experience while staying on track to graduate on time at approximately the same cost as studying on our St. Louis campus.

In this way, hundreds of Billikens each year broaden their worldview and increase their employment prospects after graduation, all without sacrificing access to vital student support services, English language instruction or SLU’s world-class faculty.
