Your Introduction to Life at SLU
We understand that you already have experience at college, so we've designed SLU 101 Transfer Orientation specifically to meet the unique needs of transfer students.
During SLU 101, you will:
- Learn about important campus resources at SLU, including Information Technology Services, the Office of Parking and Card Services, the Student Involvement Center, campus ministry, the Department of Housing and Residence Life, the Student Success Center, student financial services and more through the SLU 101 session and after your SLU 101 session with the online orientation modules you can review on your own time.
- Make connections with other students.
- Have time to get questions answered by staff members and student leaders.
Because we provide a great deal of information relevant to your academic success and register you for your first semester classes, it is expected that all new transfer students will participate in this program. You must attend a SLU 101 session to be eligible to have an individual meeting with an academic advisor.
